well this post suppose up on yesterday.
but i'm way into watching hell's kitchen
so i delay until now haha
i <3 that show ^^
LOL can say that kinda addicted haha
actually yesterday i also rushing my assignment
nasty and bloody quickbooks ACCG 251 assignment.
good news is i submitted on time,
bad news is hmm might not have a good turnout....
okay so let go to my topic...
that day i try to make cheesecake
wait a minute...
i'm telling you that i make lemon cheesecake ^^
not those instant package that all done..
i buy raw ingredients..
first time ever i try it
excited??!!!!
i'm...totally
however, i got this recipe at youtube
lemon cheesecake (no bake) by one pot chef
there are several ingredient.
just in case you're lazy to click on the youtube to watch it
or just wanna have a quick review...
250g unsalted butter
1 packet of plain biscuit
3 x 250g cream cheese
2 x 395ml tins of sweetened condensed milk
juice of 2 large lemon (approximate 100ml)
all the ingredient just in case you don't know how it looks like ^^
250g unsalted butter is kinda alot
so i might suggest that 150g is enough
but it all depend on the quantity biscuit you use.
for the plain biscuit,
i prefer digestive wholegrain biscuit ^^
by the way, if you at Australia.
you can get all the ingredient from Woolworths.
haha is obvious that show in the picture.
information for people at Malaysia,
sweetened condensed milk can get it from anywhere,
is the milk that regularly used to make coffee, milo, etc.
i think other ingredient can get it from any supermarket,
but for the cream cheese i not too sure...
definitely can get it from shop that sell cake material HA HA HA
prOcess:
heat up the sauce pan and melt the butter.
meanwhile, crush the biscuit into small chunk.
tIps # seal the biscuit using a sealer bag, it really will reduce for work loads
i choose a big bag because it can spread evenly and it won't leak
tIps # use the can of sweetened condensed milk to smack the biscuit
after that mix the butter with the biscuit.
tIps # after the mixture, if you feel that the mixture is kinda wet add more biscuit.
if is kinda dry add more butter in it...because we need the biscuit as base to stick it together.
put the mixture into the container or a cake module as base
make sure the base spread evenly.
i used a small cup to spread the biscuit or you can use a spoon its up to you
and fridge the base.
mix cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and fresh lemon juice,
well you can use a mixture ( cake blender) to do the job
it won't be too long to mix it well...
beWare # the cheese will be sticky so do not used a soft regular blender just for normal cake,
because it will not work and it will damage your blender!!!
i know this because i try it before and the consequences
the cheese mixture fly all over the kitchen and i have clean up my mess ToT
take out the base and pour the cheese mixture on the base.
then fridge it for another 2 or 3 hours.
its all done...
well its simple and fun to do it.
and definitely can impress anyone you one ^^
haha i just saying it...
i tasted the cake and it really creamy and rich in cheese
never knew it will taste this good~
unfortunately, i didn't have picture of my cake to show you guys..
because i forget to take it..so sorry..
HAHA screw me......
next time i will remind myself to do that.....
anyway, just by any chance that you want to used some of the lemon skin as a flavor
don't bake it...
because it smell like air freshener...
give a difficult time haha
qu3stion:
how much it cost for the material?
hmm approximately AUSD 15 (reference is based on Australia)
if you need extra info,
check you this youtube video...
still not sure how to do it??
no worries just drop down message and let me know....
i will help you until you understand and confident ^^
hope that you will enjoy it
